The material is produced from renewable oils, using proprietary technology. Elevance’s plant-based feedstocks are not influenced by seasonality and have shown stability in price compared to alternatives like d-Limonene, according to the company.

In tests, Elevance Clean 1200 was shown to be more effective at removing metalworking fluids and cleaning lithium-based greases. Neutral pH formulations clean animal fats and proteins in clean-in-place and clean-out-of-place applications. Elevance Clean 1200 removes engine oil and gear grease and dissolves asphalt and tar on trucks and equipment.
